Mode of action: Food moths occur in kitchens and other storage areas, in products such as nuts, cereals, biscuits, chocolates, tea, flour, rice, pet food, wild bird food and other dry foodstuff. The sticky surface catches male moths which are drawn to the trap by the pheromone attractant incorporated in the glue. This pheromone mimics the scent released by the female moth to attract the male. It is very specific to the food moth and will not attract other species.
